The plot is great if wasn't fake and far-fetched about former soldiers of WWII gathering together to grab a bars gold from Nazi, which the exact location is in the mind of prisoner of war Reinhard Holtz (Wolfgang Lukschy) jailed for good in top security fortress locate in Berlin, the British Ernest Furben (James Mason) got the files about bars gold he get in touch with Harry Morgan (Telly Savalas) who has to get others members and a receiver whereof turns it on dollars, he approaches of Sly Wells (Robert Culp) an expert mastermind a perfect plan, a German driver Schmidt (Gunter Meisner) will play the phony Hitler aided by an eye-candy nurse Erika (Doris Kunstmann) also an old acquaintance Seargent Prior (Aldo Ray) who makes a American shift on the Fortress.
