Best Film of the Year
16 September 2023
This is the most touching and beautiful film i saw this year. I was lucky enough to watch it in the presence of Adil Hussain sir who I've had the fortune to do a podcast with in the past and i just now down for the portrayal of Raghu ( the character he played ) each and every detail was superbly shown and I think a of credit should go to the brilliant debut director Nathalia Syam ma'am who has effortlessly wowen this story of a father and daughter and how they face this trouble of being exploited being illegal migrants in UK. It really touched my heart. I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate a heartwarming perfomance given by Nimisha who played the daughter along with this I would like to appreciate the efforts of the debutant writer Neetha Syam ma'am who has perfectly researched on this subject and written a fantastic story. Kudos to the producers Mohan sir and Ketaki ma'am for backing a subject like this too. I was lucky enough to catch it at the G20 film festival and i hope it gets a worldwide release in cinemas and a OTT platform.
