Honestly, there isn't a lot of themes that are grown up but the is a story line about having an affair that feels a little out of place. Like the original goosebumps meet Pretty Little Liars. Some of the gore and make out scenes probably are a bit much for elementary students.
Storyline continuity is pretty good and how the weave the books into each episode is pretty good. My younger teen enjoyed it but was definitely not a fan of the bedroom scene.
Most of the teen relationships seem pretty realistic, too.
Actors are pretty good and the settings of the locations are great. Good vibes and music throughout.
