The show has a good idea in the origins concept of how it comes together (man's father dies and he was stealing from a gangster and left behind 10M & a Lamborghini, find the money and be "rich") but it quickly implodes with elementary writing and horrendous character building.
Show should have been called poor Joe. He has a prude of a wife who's annoyingly written, the atypical angsty teen daughter, the moron best friend who's married to the insufferable girlfriend, a heroin addict cop friend working with the "I have no friends cuz I bring everyone to justice" detective! Ta da! A show with a horrible cast of characters, portrayed by by mediocre actors.
2*s, 1 cuz I like Deon Cole & 2 cuz Malcolm Barrett is also somebody I want to see win. This show doesn't need to continue existing. It showed Deon has range and gave Malcolm a solid check I'm sure. The end no need to keep a vapid show alive. Malcolm will get better checks and Deon can move onto great supporting actor in all sorts of roles in movies & shows that aren't poorly written.
