Lara Levonde (Georgia Eyers) is struggling with hallucinations and sleepwalking. Her religious controlling husband Ron Levonde (Dan Ewing) does not believe in medical science and demands only religious help. Their church led by charismatic Daniel James King (Tim Pocock) advocates faith healing over modern science.
Right from the start, I am both intrigued and repulsed by this movie. Lara is so passive that it infuriated me. It is still intriguing as a premise, but I was expecting some dramatic turns. In the end, the straight forward story leaves me cold. Maybe if this is based on a true story, do a documentary.
