For most of the season, Ahsoka dons that relaxed smile (looking like she just woke up from a good nap) because she knows that the writers of her show have provided her with absolutely no true conflict, and that she'll skate by every tedious problem with utter ease. Nothing real will be required of her, and no growth of character will stretch her through suffering or reflective introspection. Therefore, she knows she can just sit back, relax, and let the star whales take her away into any unknown realm. Her co-stars are disposable, hollow shells - - soulless, rigid wannabes who are more noticeable as young aspiring actors than their true fictional characters. Either way you look at them, they're awful; and the only way to endure watching is to hope Thrawn kills them all - - which we know he won't, because of the writers decision to keep them all from suffering so much as a scratch. This show is horrendous and I regret watching it.
