I´m rating it 10 stars because I think it deserves a way higher rating than the average it got here. It is kinda predictable and cheesy, though my girlfriend didn´t find it cheesy at all! It is notably low budget; the most obvious part being long streches without any background music, and when the soundtrack came... well it communicated the sentiment at least.
A hilarious part we noted was a sped up scene to make a car driving up seem more dramatic, which made the horses chew their grass way too fast.
All this aside, it was a very charming film, cute and makes you feel good. It just happens to be christmas in the background, which is the way I personally like christmas movies. We also loved that the lesbians were just dating and flirting - no one had to come out of the closet or face homophobia. It´s really refreshing to just see some lesbians being lesbians!!
Many lesbian movies are sad, and this one was just unproblematic and fun and very normal. That´s what is so inspiring about this one.
