WHAT HARMLESS FLIRTATION?!!! Who wrote the stupid synopsis! The story is so stupid and silly it is beyond belief. Who wrote it? A couple of horny adolescents while doing their school assignments?
I mean everything just seemed to go into paving the way for the unthinkable. A divorced 35 year old grumpy and whiney guy who's married a beautiful businesswoman and has joint custody of his son with his ex-wife who incidentally is another beautiful woman!
Everything falls into place so easily. It kicks off with the football going across the fence conveniently for the unhinged college chick to retrieve it and when she takes it back, he couldn't take his eyes off her. Then conveniently they bump into each other in college campus because guess what, he's a 35 year old loser going back to school, because he feels his wife is looking down at him?
Then conveniently his wife has to go on a business trip, and his ex pick up their son for the weekend, then conveniently his brother calls that evening and says he can't make it watch the game. And Elysum (girl next door) has moment when she thinks someone's chasing her while she's jogging like the incident that happened when her dad died, so she knocks on his door and he invites her in. One thing leads to another and hey they hit the hay! The next morning he tells Elysum that the night before was a mistake and just hits her to the curb.
Frankly I cannot blame Elysum for all the things she did, because he led her on and then just poured a bucket ice water on her. Rio deserved it.
The ending was very confusing. How come Elysum did not get punished for anything she had done. Manslaughter and all the other things. And why did Rio end up in jail?
