This amazing little light hearted film did not predict at all the following dramas from Stéphane Brizé: MADEMOISELLE CHAMBON, LA LOI DU MARCHE, EN GUERRE.... And all of those films are absolutely awesome. This one, LE BLEU DES VILLES is not at all my cup of tea, but II don't know why, it is full of charm, this young woman so engrossing. It is a pure delight to watch this French movie, a character picture in which so many people could recognize themselves. There is some bitterness though, it is not entirely a stupid comedy. If not I would have never made it. I just found it today that it was a Stéphane Brizé's film.
