The acting is great. We expect that. Peter Mullan as antagonist is so memorable you might never again enter an ALL THINGS SCOTTISH shop for the rest of your life. But the script is incredible, a work of art. The viewer is mesmerized by the shifting landscape. We go from murder mystery, to missing money, to intimidation, and around again in a loop. You initially become protective of the wife LEXI as she deals with a situation that seems to have no solution. But by the end of the series you envy her for her cleverness. The cop who acts as Lexi's "guardian angel" is also a nice touch. Very satisfying series, under-rated. ((Designated "IMDb Top Reviewer."
