This was, uhn, special...

When I stumbled upon the 2023 animated movie "Merry Little Batman", I had never heard about it. But I opted to sit down and watch it, as it was a "Batman" animated movie after all. However, I had zero idea what exactly I was in for here.

Writers Morgan Evans, Jase Ricci and Mike Roth didn't really impress me with the contents that they mustered to put together for "Merry Little Batman".

There are some good talents on the voice acting roster, with the likes of Luke Wilson, James Cromwell, David Hornsby and Brian George, to mention but a few.

The art style in "Merry Little Batman" didn't sit well with me, and it made it very, very difficult to sit through a staggering 96 minutes of watching this. It was like something you'd seen during the 1990s or 2000s on channels like Cartoon Network or Nickelodeon.

This particular animated "Batman" movie was aimed at a much younger audience than the group I am in. And thus, I found very little enjoyment in watching "Merry Little Batman". This is definitely not something that will find its way back on my screen a second time.

My rating of "Merry Little Batman", from director Mike Roth, lands on a three out of ten stars.
