The acting, the songs, the direction by Imtiaz Ali, everything is a perfection. The acting by Diljeet is so good that you forget for a minute that you are watching a movie. The credit goes to the cast selection here. When Diljit sings we are able to resonate with the character. Pareeneti also did fair with the screen time she got. Although her character could have been highlighted more. But this was Diljit's show. The way Imtiaz has framed all the story is so smooth that even with story jumping from past and present, we stay hinged to the movie. An A class movie this is.
