A brilliant film. Beautiful to watch. Extraordinary cinematography. Rich, sumptuous. A true "Art" film. Maiwenn & Johnny Depp gave excellent performances. The dialogue in this movie was purposely limited, yet you didn't miss it. It just made the glances, gestures and nuances that much more poignant and powerful. A wonderful glimpse into 18th c. French court life. The film successfully transports you back in time. Maiwenn as director, actor and writer - excelled at all. And Johnny as King Louis XV was a brilliant choice. Kudos to the supporting cast as well. Well done. Definitely worth a watch. Who wouldn't want to experience the Palais du Versailles?
