A gentleman crook knows every millionaire in town and works accordingly. The millionaire rejects the attentions that the hero pays his daughter and entertains the crook instead. In order to help the hero his friends dress him as a soldier and set him up as a monument on the lawn. At night the crook is caught and the final clinch is secured.
