The Superiority of Camera Narrative
Single-Black-Male19 November 2003
The 33 year old D.W. Griffith demonstrates in this film that the voice of the camera is superior to the majority of the novels written up until this point (Defoe, Scott, Charlotte Bronte withstanding).

Cecil B. DeMille's sweetheart, Jeanie Macpherson, appears in this film as well.
