Ford Sterling and Mack Swain are a couple of neighborhood toughs who fight over Emma Clifton and get involved in burglary in this mediocre Keystone from 1914.
There isn't much to this comedy for the first half, mostly Ford Sterling doing his usually amusing mugging and behaving despicably. He is credited as director as well as the star, so it may be that he was too busy supervising the other performances to think up any particularly good gags for himself. Most of the fun is provided by the Keystone Kops, led by desk sergeant Chester Conklin, who can't seem to get their car started. However, that doesn't last too long.
