Tom and Sid must catch a bear for a girl...After arduous (and to today's standards, cruel) efforts to rein in a California bear, they learn from the girl that, well, she's changed her mind and wants the animal turned loose. This short film from the Selig company showcases both Tom's talent as cowboy (ropping, riding, wrestling) and as clown. For once he takes his role lightly and there is some nice comic pantomime with Sid Jordan. Otherwise the film is a silly little piece of entertainment, and I'd bet the two bears didn't think it was much fun to do.
