Warning: Spoilers
Secret to Judith Ralston ( Violet Mersereau ) her brother Budd ( Cecil Owen ) and wife Vera ( Ann Andrews ) are counterfeiters. While trying to escape Rayban ( Robert F. Hill ), a secret service agent, they leave Judith at a small town in Virginia. Out horseback riding one day, Judith is injured and rescued by Boone Pendleton ( Allen Edwards ) who takes her to his cabin. Later, she receives instructions from her brother to go to the Ralston house and destroy everything she sees. Rayban, suspicious of the girl, wires Washington to shadow her. Meanwhile, Rayban has arrested Budd, who escapes and returns to the house where he meets Judith. When she learns of her brother's crooked occupation, Judith has him promise to reform his corrupt ways, before he eludes the secret service agent once again. Judith then informs Boone that she had no knowledge of her brother's business, and the two are married.

This 1917 mystery/drama was filmed by the Universal Film Manufacturing Company and starred beautiful silent film actress Violet Mersereau. Sadly it now remains a lost silent film.
