Sex & Nudity

  • There are scenes of the town depicting promiscuous/orgiastic behavior, although nothing explicit is shown in terms of nudity or sexual acts. The content is suggestive in nature.
  • A man watches as a woman starts to undress. She only partially disrobes, which reveals her back. While the scene implies the possibility of more being visible from the front, this is not shown. The man watching her is shown to have facial expressions indicating sexual desire. For a few seconds he attempts to rape her later on in the scene, although nothing explicit happens before he is stopped.
  • There are a few scenes in which nude male and female statues are depicted, primarily as part of the background. These statues are not prominently featured but can be seen in certain scenes.

Violence & Gore

  • Several people are shown suffering from the Black Plague, and there are scenes that show the aftermath of the disease, with several bodies. Nothing graphic is shown in either case.
