- In the "Johnny Fedora and Alice Bluebonnet" segment, Johnny is taken into a seedy bar where a bar fight ensues; the following things occur: one man hits another over the head with a strap and the other man shoots him off screen, silhouetted people are seen punching each other and screams are heard, Johnny dodges bullets fired off screen and the police arrive and club everybody on the head before arresting them.
- The wolf in the "Peter and the Wolf" segment may frighten some children. as he growls at and chases after the main characters with the intent of eating them. At one point, it is apparent that he has devoured a duck. However, it is later revealed that she was just hiding.
