Jerry is a nerdish awkward guy who has trouble fitting in at a swinging singles apartment complex. Lynn Redgrave is a secret agent whose bookish husband Jerry doesn't realize her job even when Harold is trying to assassinate her.

Jerry and guest Shirley Jones are a married Asian couple trying to solve a murder at an elegant gathering but aren't very good at it. Jerry is an eager fan at a film premiere where things don't go right for him.
Jerry is Sydney who has a small part in a costume drama starring Miss Moffo, managing to ruin every take. Harold Stone reunites with son Jerry who's an inept boxer. Miss Moffo sings an aria which Jerry messes up.
Miss Coco stars as the not very good lead ballerina in a recital. Jerry is an inept lookout for a robbery on a very busy street. Mountie Jerry must thwart evil doer Richard Kiley while rescuing Imogene in a two part skit.
