As part of the upgrade to Disneyland's Tomorrowland section, _America the Beautiful (1960)_, Disney's 360 degree tour of America, was technically enhanced and moved to the new Circle-Vision 360 theater attraction.

The CircleVision 360 Theater at Disneyland was converted into the queue area for Rocket Rods, a high-speed replacement for the PeopleMover as part of the second "new" Tomorrowland that opened in 1998. The screens now show footage from earlier transportation-related Disney feature films and short subjects, with Walt Disney identified as the founder of the Tomorrowland Transit Authority.
