This movie was originally seen at Disneyland and Walt Disney World from the late 1960's to the middle 1970's. This movie was one of the first movies shot with the Disney studios CircleVision cameras, 9 cameras completely encircling the viewer. This gives the viewer a real feeling for being there. A beautiful movie, with scenes from New Salem, Illinois, St. Louis, San Francisco, and Hawaii.

Wonderful Filmwork!

I remember seeing this for the first time in the Spring of '72 at DisneyWorld and remembering people holding on to the railings that the audience was lined up between. As well, they would tilt their heads and even remember some saying that they were getting DIZZY! Ironically, the CircleVision 360 Theater was sponsored by Monsanto in those days just as the ride next to it, "If You Had Wings" (I can STILL hum the tune!), was sponsored by Eastern Airlines. THAT ride even had wind blowing in your face at the end to give the riders the FEEL that they were truly traveling down a ski slope (would LOVE to have DVD copies of all of those rides that are now only in my memory)! Just because they are no longer in existence (and because kids have NO idea what A through E tickets were), BOTH of these rides were A ticket rides if I remember correctly. This brought back WONderful memories. Thanks to whomever included it in the Dbase!
