This was broadcast in the Wednesday Play slot in January 1970. About a year ago, someone posted it on YouTube along with a lot of other great stuff from TV of that era - sadly, 'copyright infringement' notices have put paid to that wonderful channel. What impressed me most about this play was the tremendously sympathetic character of the central figure - a girl on a quest to find what is right for her- and her gentle (and not fanatical) refusal to settle for anything less. Julie Driscoll, in what may have been her first acting role, impresses as the girl and there is a great supporting cast of people who subsequently became 'names'. Some important footage, too, of the 1969 'free concert' in Hyde Park, featuring the Blind Faith supporting the Rolling Stones. Very much a portrait of its era but still relevant to us today.
