all the virtues, all the sins
Kirpianuscus28 July 2017
political series about the events around August 23 1944, it is a typical series for understand the work of propaganda. first collaboration between National Television and Buftea Cinematografic Studio, it is a large fresco, with clear line between bad and good characters. but, in strange manner, as many films/series from the same period, it is a form of resistance. first, for the presence of the Romanian artistic elite. the second, for the directors, from Radu Gabrea to Dan Pița.today, it is a document about the perception of history. or, more exactly, about the manner to present it. but, it remains, for the solid performances, a good choice to see it. and, after so many decades, maybe, is the most important thing.
