  • There is no sex or nudity in the film. The plot involves the love of two young teenagers for each other but it is tastefully done. The only mention of 'sex' is when the 12 year old Belle Carter tells 'Tolly' that Mrs Carmody has 'never seen such bosoms swell but thinks it was her cooking'.

Violence & Gore

  • There is some violence in the film. The violence comes from 'Black Jack', a big 6'-7" man, but no one gets hurt. He used his strength for the good at the end of the film.

Profanity

  • There is no profanity in this film, even from the villans.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • There are some pipe 'social' smoking. The only drugs are from an 'elixier' that Dr Carmody is selling. This is a remedy that is supposed to cure all illnesses but is nothing more than a few boiled up herbs.
