Nice movie.

This movie is nice, it is funny, ironic and interesting.

It's nice to watch to remember the old days. Don't expect too much from this movie.

Funny thing is that this movie can have some relevance to today.

Watch it if you have nothing better to do.

A Musical, A Parody, A Comedy

If you see this movie out-of-ontext, it may seem like a movie you have seen a million times.

But the dialogs have the distint quality of smart nonesense so typical to Assi Dayan, the music is amazing with one song (The Frecha Song) becoming immortal and still popular, almost 50 years later.

If you lived in Israel of only one TV channel, you'll appreciate the total wreckage as the characters ravage through the TV studios, after all, it's the Gashashim we're talking about.

There is so much self-awareness thoughout the movie. It resonates the cinema-musicals area, and one of the songs specifically refer to John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John, and the nerd Tzachi is talking endlessly about a movie by "Vitorio Barbarini". Also the name of the move "Shalger" (A smashing hit) is self-aware, and indeed, at the time is was a big Shalger in Israel.

If you lived in Israel during the 70s-80s - this one is a must.
