Sex & Nudity

  • During the three seasons, each of the 3 main characters had graphic sexual encounters on one or more occasions. Although there was never any full nudity, Louise Robey did have several nude shots from the back while grinding on men or from the side while lying on each other. There were also women in revealing lingerie leading up to these scenes. Although shocking for the 80's, it doesn't achieve a Game of Thrones level.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • This series is about items cursed by the devil. Each item requires something horrific, up to and including murder, in order to get something in exchange. The fun of the series was figuring out how each item worked.
  • There are several episodes that were extremely Satanic with human sacrifices, devil worshiping, speaking in tongues, drinking blood, burning at the stake, and so on. These scenes are too intense for children and may even horrify adults.
  • Every episode, one or more of the main characters is placed in real life threatening peril. Minor characters are not so lucky and usually meet a grisly death due to the cursed object.
