Sex & Nudity

  • A couple is seen kissing in front of a fireplace at night. It's implied that they are naked underneath the blankets.
  • There is a couple on the bed fully clothed, making a reference about how they had sex the night before.
  • A young single woman talks about a one-night stand that she has had with a man.
  • There is a stage production that features a song about women's breasts. There are several characters that walk onto the stage with fake, super-sized breasts. Terms such as "tits" and "boulder holders" are used in the song's lyrics.
  • There is one case of infidelity. A woman walks in on her husband having breakfast with another woman. The woman is wearing the wife's robe. It is implied that they had sex.
  • A few women wear low cut blouses that reveal cleavage.
  • A divorced woman becomes involved with an older man. It is implied that they may have had sex. The woman's friend accuses her of using him.
  • While struggling to make some money early in the movie, CC dresses up as a bunny and delivers a love message to a guy from his girlfriend. The lyrics she sings are "Happy, happy birthday, Bunny Boy! Love's kind of funny with a bunny boy, he loves me so hard, he's my bundle of joy. Violence & Gore

  • An 11-year-old girl knocks things over in one scene and screams loudly at her mother.
  • CC has a Great Dane at one point in the movie, and she handles him rather roughly. She calls him names when he misbehaves and yells at him.
  • CC gets angry at a director and punches and kicks him.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Adults drink alcohol. After getting some shocking news, a woman asks the bartender to make her martini a double.
  • We watch CC smoking a cigarette at age 11, and it appears that she's been doing it for quite some time. She asks Hilary if she wants "a drag" to "calm her nerves". CC continues to smoke as an adult, too.
  • There are a few bar scenes.
  • Two characters, a man and a woman, are filming a scene together for a movie. The scene is taking place in a truck. She is smoking a cigarette, and he has a beer in his hand.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Hillary collapses home, when she is alone with her young daughter. Her child is seen screaming, crying, and begging her to wake up.
  • Some arguments between friends and married couples. An 11-year-old child screams at her mother, causing the woman to cry.
  • Hillary almost faints at work. She sits down on the steps and has difficulty breathing/talking. Her face gets all sweaty.
