Without a doubt, the worst movie I have ever seen. Take out plot, acting, cinematography and you get "The Flying Children". The movie is a series of 10 minute static scenes that have very little to do with each other. I guess this would be considered spoilers so you have been warned. Here are the treats in store for you: a cow getting slaughtered and carved up, sex scenes that are neither erotic or interestingly shot and usually end up with someone dying. But the most ridiculous scene is one where the protagonist is eating dinner with another man. There is a little discussion and then the protagonist leans over and bites a big chunk out the guy's neck! I cannot think of anyone that would be interested in this movie. I saw this film at the Toronto Film Festival in 1991 and the director was there to answer questions at the end. The few people that were left tried to give him a chance to explain his movie. His answer to every question was: "It means whatever you want it to be." I guess the most depressing thing after this movie, is that he seems to still get jobs in the film industry.
