I got the Japanese VHS of this not knowing much about it. I couldn't find any info or English reviews about it so I figured it was probably forgotten for a reason. Still, since I have enjoyed some of the other French Charlotte Gainsbourg movies and since it was cheap, I though I would give it a watch.

The story was about Charlotte's character and her problems with two guys. She is living with a guy but has dinner with another guy who tells her that he is in love with her and kisses her. Then she tells her boyfriend about it and he gets jealous. The guys are obsessed with her and she is always obsessed with having them be obsessed over her. The characters are immature and not likable but it is still interesting and somewhat believable.

Charlotte Gainsbourg was on the screen 99percent of the time and she is stunning. The two male actors do a fine job as well.

The directing is in your face. A depressing color is in the air. The locations are claustrophobic and a lot of scenes take place in dull apartments. There is a lot of nudity, sexual tension, and long conversations. It is very much a French movie about unfaithful lovers in the early 90s. Charlotte Gainsbourg makes it very recommendable.
