Sex & Nudity

  • Linda Lash is depicted as an attractive-blonde who is a black-clad, dominatrix-type of villainess, similar to Michelle Pfeiffer's Catwoman from Batman Returns.
  • There are two scenes where the Lee brothers are oogling at Marian's butt whenever she bends over. (For context, that crude gag is based on how Marian's arcade-game counterpart has a voluptuous butt, which is also shown twice on-screen.)

Violence & Gore

  • The movie features the same type of slapstick violence and comic mischief as seen in other campy, kid-friendly, "ninja" movies such as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, 3 Ninjas, Surf Ninjas, etc.
  • There is a lot of non-stop martial arts action throughout the movie. It is not that violent, with barely any blood shown.

Profanity

  • Most of the movie contains nothing but the same type of juvenile and crude-humored insults as Super Mario Bros.: The Movie.
  • 2 uses of "Sh*t" (one was incomplete), 2 uses of "Damn", 2 uses of "Hell", and 1 use of God's name in vain.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • It is implied that Shuko pumps steroids into Abobo's body.
  • Shuko smokes a slim cigar throughout the movie.
  • One verbal reference as a woman says that a crashed plane "was probably full of drugs".

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Shuko transforms into a shadowy figure, and transforms into 2 seperate beings.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Satori has the worst death in the whole film, where the theater explodes while she was the only one still inside.
  • The mutant transformation of Bo Abobo. After gaining his freakish power from a steroid-infested torture device, he rampages infront of both Billy and Jimmy Lee which causes them to scream at his appearance.
