Run of the mill Thriller
One_hot_babe28 October 2004
I saw this film at Cannes in 96 and believe me it was not up for any awards. On the other hand, it's not bad for a B movie. About a woman who's husband get killed in a plane crash. Soon strange things start occurring in their Gothic Victorian style home. The police discover that the plane crash was not an accident and focus on Michelle Weston played by unknown actress, Susan Edge, as the main suspect. The part I did like about this film was you did not know if this is a Ghost story or a good old fashioned murder. Things are some what slow getting started but the last half of the movie picks up considerably. The plot is unoriginal but well executed. I figured out the end about 20 minutes before the end which was not that tough to do. It does have a few good scares and it manages to build some suspense if you stick with it. Over all, this movie is nothing to write home about but is decent for a night of mild distraction.

Great little Flick!

I saw this on the video shelf a few nights ago and the cover looked interesting so I rented it. I did not have high expectations considering I had never heard of it before. Soon after I started it, I was finding myself buying in to the subtle mystery that Director, W. Mel Martins creates. Michelle Weston (Susan Edge)does an outstanding performance as a woman who's husband is killed and leaves her unknowingly in the middle of a murder mystery. At first your not sure if it's a ghost story or a thriller. I won't tell you though, so don't ask. I found this little flick not to bad considering the budget. I see that the director has two other larger budget films coming out. I'm holding high hopes for them.
