Magoo, an escaped convict and a bloodhound
llltdesq2 May 2014
Warning: Spoilers
This is a Magoo short from the UPA Studios. There will be mild spoilers ahead:

A bloodhound is pursuing an escaped convict, who winds up hiding at Magoo's place, with the expected comic results. Magoo is expecting a friend to come by to go on a fishing trip.

The typical mistakes due to poor vision happen, with drapes entering into the fun and the bloodhound pretty much wondering just what in the world is going on in this crazy place.

Ultimately, the convict is captured and the good guys win. All in all, it's a decent Magoo short. Magoo is a one note character and the quality of the shorts depends on the story and the writing. This one's not bad.

This short, along with all the other Magoo theatrical shorts, is now available on DVD. The DVD collection is excellent and well worth getting. Recommended.
