Okay caper picture about stealing a famous diamond
lor_18 November 2023
This minor Wicked Pictures caper movie is well-done with an attractive cast, with director Jim Enright favoring the sex content over the action thrills. It's a bit more thoughtful than usual (and without humor, Enright's usual trump card), but should have had more depth to hold Adult Cinema fans' interest.

Stacy Valentine stars in her black catsuit and mask as a jewel thief in league with expert Alex Sanders, and the first part of the movie details their 1990 attempt to steal the large and valuable Allure diamond from an exhibition at Jonathan Morgan's museum. They fail, and six years later matters have changed drastically, with former Interpol agent Mickey G., who spent years tracking down Sanders, hiring the former criminal to supervise security under his care at the same museum for another Allure exhibition, much against the wishes of museum director Morgan. The museum's board of directors has the final say and overruled Morgan.

The sex scenes here, mainly with blonde beauties Valentine, Sindee Coxx and Lexi Erickson, but also including a game TV reporter played by Alexandra Silk, are satisfying, while there's briefly tension built by the jewel theft scenes, leading to an unusual and not too convincing surprise ending. George Kaplan's screenplay sticks to the basics, and fails to develop the necessary characterizations (of Sanders and Valentine in particular) to cement audience identification.
