Actually a very interesting story, since there are not many movies which are set in Germany shortly after the ending of the world war and tell a story from the point of view of an American. The movie itself is about the Jewish-American army investigator Gladbaker(Stefan Kurt) with German origin who has to investigate the brutal slaughter of a German family in their farmhouse. A former German police officer named Fehleisen(Bruno Ganz-well known for his appearance as Adolf Hitler in "Downfall") helps him and they get to know Karin Katte (Karoline Eichhorn), a woman with a mysterious past who could be in some way in connection with the killing. Although the story is made up very well, there are some negative aspects, which should be mentioned. First of all, the pseudo-American dialect of Stefan Kurt is more then just worse and secondly the story of Katte and it's connection to Gladbakers relatives appears to be too constructed. Nevertheless it is worth seeing once or twice.
