A Wedding Knight was another of those awful cartoons of the '60s from the Paramount studio

This is another Paramount Modern Madcap cartoon starring Sir Blur I watched on the DailyMotion site. Blur was the studio's answer to Mr. Magoo in that he was another nearsighted fellow who mistakes something or someone for another. In this one, the king is having trouble getting someone to marry his daughter because she's, to put it mildly, ugly. Guess who stumbles into the contest? As with another in the Sir Blur series entry, this one is painfully unfunny and a little predictable. The series was also so short-lived, even Leonard Maltin didn't mention it in his book on American theatrical animation studios from the '30s through the '60s called "Of Mice and Magic". So on that note, A Wedding Knight is not recommended.
