This Western offering is not a very strong one. There is confusion of characters at times and the plot does not get up much feeling. The hero succeeds in saving the valuable ore from his treacherous rival. The title does not fit the picture very well as the ore was never really stolen. - The Moving Picture World, September 5, 1914
