Whilst it doesn't have the slick visuals of ACI, it more than makes up for it by brilliant narration and the use of actual cockpit recordings.

Sadly, this only ran for a couple of seasons.
Similar to ACI (Mayday) but less cheesy and uses real voice recordings from the cockpits.
The use of real voice recordings makes it terrifying to watch at times. The narration is far less dramatic than Mayday but this makes it better in my opinion. Just the facts, mam!
The episode on the Souix City crash (where the hydraulics failed)is absolutely gripping.
This was aired on British TV in the mid/late nighties. For some reason they didn't make many which is a real shame as the show was a hit.

I believe only ran for one season on Channel 4 with a TWA800 special some time afterwards. A very British production with less of a focus on actors/dramatics and comes across as more documentary style. Good interviews with those associated with each incident. Each episode focuses on a different aspect/cause of air crash and the following investigation. You get to see Greg Feith in his famous colourful tops too ha! Will seem dated but covers a lot of crashes and you will want to watch the others of which there are about 4/5 in total of the original series then the TWA 800 special. You can watch most of them on YouTube .
