Intriguing little mystery yarn
searchanddestroy-113 March 2024
I really like this short French mystery flick, that reminds me some American films from the late forties, such as Lewis Allen's THE UNINVITED or THE UNSEEN, where romance, ghosts, mystery are mixed together. From time to time, it's good to watch this riveting little stories. Of course, I could not bear it for a series. Claude Jade is convincing here as this widow who searches about her dead husband's secrets, in a remote countryside cabin, farm. Excellent camera work which emphasizes on the mystery lines, bringing real suspense. It' s a real worth watching TV stuff. Rare and very hard to find, especially for remote contryside legends goers.
