- Most of the violence, of which there is a lot, involves firearms or small explosives.
- During the riot scene in the opening of the film there is mob violence (rioters throwing rocks and Molotov cocktails at riot police), police violence (use of tear gas and clubs to subdue rioters), along with the use of a napalm-Molotov and a satchel charge against the police, causing death and burns.
- Since many of the violence involves automatic weapons, people are shredded onscreen by gunfire.
