I saw this film when I was a child and I remember it was really funny. Now this movie has particular value as it shows late fifties reality very softly.

This the story of a little bus driver ("lotação" in Portuguese) and the collector, his friend. In the fifties and sixties, it was very common in Brazil those little buses that one man operates by himself. There were also the regular buses operated by Bus Companies, but then the driver and collector were employees. The story shows their daily life and their adventures to get resources for clinic operation in the family. Naturally, everything goes perfect, as this film is a sitcom and just for fun.

Very funny 'chanchada'!

Very funny movie from Brazilian old comedy genre called Chanchada. Always brilliant Grande Otelo has a great leading role duo with Ankito. It is interesting to see Jô Soares in his third small role in cinema (according IMDB; all his three first movies were directed by Victor Lima). Renata Fronzi, who I knew much later in her long career, was already an established actress at her 32 years age, what is also interesting to watch. The two best chanchadas I have watched until now were both by Victor Lima, produced by Herbert Richers and starred by Grande Otelo. Both have the same level of the best comedies made in Hollywood ib those years, ane should be better and more watched nowadays.
