Destruction Is Funny!
boblipton10 January 2021
Phil Dunham and Clem Beauchamp destroy the house bringing in and installing a new radio.

There's certainly a lot of pleasure to be had watching a pair of comedy idiots wrecking a house installing a radio set-up; Laurel and Hardy would star in HOG WILD, doing the same thing during the sound era. However, there's a certain amount of pacing needed to make it funny, and starting out by sawing the house apart in order to get the crated radio inside does not leave much expansion to go. This might make up the second half of a decent two-reeled, but as a stand-alone one-reel comedy, it's not much.
