The collaboration of Private and Penthouse in a series of films made by Antonio Adamo resulted in quality cinema, with this initial offering blessed by the presence of Silvia Saint. She is arguably as important a Euro import to Adult Cinema as Brigitte Bardot was four decades before to Art-house Cinema.
Bruno SX stars as a guy writing a story about a high-class call girl, and we see him interviewing and observing (with nine concise sex scenes presented) the life-style of that profession. Saint is the most beautiful of the women involved, but Adamo has cast several top-notch actresses in support, notably Kate More, Monica Sweetheart and the underrated French actress Liza Crawford.
The show is lovely to look at, especially when Saint is on screen, and Adamo keeps it interesting enough to avoid the pitfall of seeming like merely a stringing together of sex scenes. Recommended along with the rest of the Private/Penthouse features, available in boxed sets (though out of print).
