I am old enough to say I actually saw "Keep Off My Grass" when it came out in very limited release. Albeit somewhat "B" list, I found it culturally relevant, and Micky Dolenz's performance completely heart-rendering.
Dolenz said that his best performances were in "Head" and this movie. You need to open your mind to what it meant to be trapped in the early 70s drug culture. This movie exhibits all of it.
Perhaps he did not have a good publicist to help promote the movie's true meaning and its relevant Hollywood milestone within movie culture to ensure this movie's success. If you can find it now on DVD, video or download, buy it.
