This drama, based on the poem by Robert Browning, of the same title, is neatly and prettily presented and is very commendable in its settings and its acting. Lois Webber plays the lead. The story is very simple and the charm of the play lies in the manner of its telling. A young artist neglects his wife for a pretty fisher maiden, whose picture he is painting, but in the end admits his mistake. - The Moving Picture World, December 6, 1913
