Storyline
Plot Summary |
The film's protagonists are three Pakistani brothers, the older one being a police officer and the younger two, small-time hoodlums. The three brothers ultimately reconcile in the aftermath of police firing on protesters when their younger sister is killed while protesting against blasphemy of Islam and Islamic Teachings. The three brothers decide to avenge her by hunting down and killing the main culprits behind all those events. They receive the help of a female intelligence officer in the course of their mission. The real culprit is a sadistic criminal mastermind, working for an international conspiracy devoted to destroying Islam and making Muslims insecure, thus starting a chain reaction eventually causing clash of civilizations and destruction of world peace. He is hiding in the Philippines, guarded by a branch of Israeli Army. General Batu Batu is their commander. They routinely amuse themselves by torturing and killing the innocent Muslims and also those who try to stop them. The film ends with a gunfight between the four "International Guerrillas" and Israeli Army. The heroes defeat the villains and save the world peace and restore the order after a long period of chaos. |

Trivia | When the film was first submitted to the BBFC in 1990 the certificate was withheld due to possible grounds of criminal libel from Salman Rushdie, as his character is seen as a villainous Israeli agent who is killed by a bolt of lightning from the Koran. After Rushdie claimed that the film "would have become the hottest video in town" if it was banned, and promised not to sue, the BBFC granted an uncut 18 certificate. See more » |
