This is a real farce and we can report that it pleased, for there was a good deal of laughter. It is made by adding to an old farcical plot a new situation and the result gives fresh entertainment and amusement. The author is Arthur Hotaling and his leading characters are played by Walter Stull and Robert Burns, the fake soldiers, and by Mae Hotely and Julia Calhoun, their wives. It is a better farce than usually found found on the screen. - The Moving Picture World, April 12, 1913
