Max Linder and Jane Renouardt are in love, but his mother doesn't know and her father doesn't approve. So when Max gets a note from his beloved that papa is out of town, he sneaks by.... and in comes papa.
The copy of this that I viewed looks like a Pathe-baby cutdown, less than four minutes in length, and without much in the way of Max's gags..... just the big, obvious one at the end. Alas, as much as I enjoy the inventive and funny Mr. Linder, this one doesn't have enough to make it very entertaining.
