Lessons on love, jealousy, and friendship
jjturley7 September 2004
This story takes place in Costa Rica. The storyteller makes an effort at the start to let us know this, along with the fact that all over the island are beautiful women and great scenery. And don't forget the sunsets!

The plot concerns two fishermen, both unmarried. One of them is very good at heart. He is involved with a beautiful and sophisticated wealthy woman. His parents are eager for him to marry her. Meanwhile, the other fisherman is just a heavy-drinking womanizing troublemaker. In spite of such differing personalities, these two fishermen are good friends.

One day, the two men visit a local store to make a purchase for their boat. A beautiful young woman is now working there, and the two men are both taken with her. She is just a local girl, very innocent and unsophisticated. Yet in spite of her seeming innocence, she spots the difference between these two potential suitors.

Which fisherman will get her? The good one is already spoken for, and the bad one is, well, not a proper candidate either. Watch the movie and find out!
